Hello,
I have most of the parts for the Mushroom echo laying around at home so I thought I'd do a vero layout for it instead of buying a kit for $80 and waiting for it to come from Sweden.

I was wondering if someone could verify my layout, it was made in DIY Layout Creator and I've only done a few buffer's on it before.

Anyhelp would be great.

hi tom,

you need 3 holes for the transistor..

and the 7805 hasn't any spaces...(use a transistor model for the 7805) you will have to fit it at a right angle to the strips as you cannot put cuts in parallel with it..

and you need cuts under those horizontal resistors too...

have another crack at it, it takes some geting used to doing vero....can you make pcbs?

try to make resistors 4 holes in length...capacitors 3 holes in length...for a better fit. ;)

Thanks,
I'm never quite sure about spacing. also i could figure out how to cater for the 78L05 or the transistor in DIYLC, as far as holes was concerned, hence the dodgy "N.B." down the bottom.
I did miss those resistor trace cuts so thanks.

I've etched PCB's before but I don't have a dremel or suitable drill to complete them. I wasn't confident enough to try it with a hand drill. But I can etch them fine.

Okay,

After letting this go and building a few more vero layouts I've come back to it and would like some verification if someone would be kind enough to look over it.
I know the caps don't look like they have much room but by bending the legs I can usually fit them in.

Here are links to the layout:

And the original Moody Sounds document:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This and the echobase in one true bypass looper would make quite the racket.  ;D
