I think you have to take the "s" out of "https", when you use the Youtube brackets.

thanks for your constructive feedback. I didnt do the eagle work myself, just advised on a few aspects of the design / layout.
For what its worth, the layout works well enough, no cross talk / LFO tick, which was the main criterion. When others have tried to shrink the doppelganger it was plagued with ticking.
This layout mitigated against that by keeping the Audio and CV portions of the circuit separate, and actually echoes where possible the original single side layout of the classic original.

For those wondering no the BRD files are not freely available, and no there arent more of these PCBs availble
A group buy was advertised here, FSB and Madberan for many weeks; sorry if you missed it.

Yes this is old, but with new boards out I figured I'd ask here ..

So I built a clone of the Doppelganger based off Gigahearts schematic :

And noticed a discrepancy, which has been also discovered at the tagboard site layout of his schematic as well.. 

C10 is shown on the schematic as a 1n, but in the bom it's a 10n, and then in pics of his build on mad bean it appears to be a 10n.  Deadend fx is selling the vital spark which is also a clone of this device, and I believe it's C6 on their schematic.. also listed as a 1n ..  Dino did you trace a unit or use Ian's schematic ? I am curious of the actual value of this cap from a real unit. 

It's part of the HF part of the filter, the other value being 4.7n, approximately 1/2..  the LF portion is 22n and 47n.. also a 1/2 ratio ..  Which leads me to think maybe it is a 10n.. 

Anway I figured someone would know the actual value maybe from a production unit thanks for looking

Well I desoldered the 1n and put in a 10n.. way more noticeable in the HF span. 

Not sure if anyone can confirm that's right, but I'd bet money it's a 10n

I didn't trace this. I think Phil used an existing schematic.

If 10n is better, then I'll update the DEFX build doc BOM. Thanks for the heads up.

Is anyone currently selling smaller-format Doppelganger clone PCBs? I have built the Vital Spark and absolutely love it, would like to get a version into a 1590XX or similar.
