I managed to cram a Whisker Biscuit into a 1590B. While working on that I had a thought. What's the craziest enclosure interior you've seen? As much as he's joked about here, Landgraff is pretty nuts when it comes to how much crap he crams into a 1590B. Anyone see anything worse (better?) than that?

I'm about to throw a Tube Reamer into a Jameco (smaller than 1590B) sized box, with full 24mm pots and a 3pdt.

Nothing comes even close to the zvex Nanoamp.

Have any interior shots?

*EDIT*
Checked the Zvex site and there's an interior shot there. DAYUM that's a lotta crap!

Zach has essentially committed himself to the 1590B, and has probably mastered every conceivable means of stuffing more into them than anyone else on the planet.  The man could probably pack for a 6-month trip around the world in an attaché case....and STILL have room for souvenirs picked up along the way!

Yeah, I just saw a nano amp in person the other day at a shop here in town.
I could'nt believe how tiny it was.
unbelievable!

heres a tiny booster i built...roughly 1.3" X 2" ....the quarter and the boss pedal are shown for size reference.....

its a cool little boost to make up gain on a tight pedalboard....

Here's the little "tube reamer" I squeezed into a very tiny "BIMBOX" enclosure, which is about 4.5 cm square !!
Fun, but no room for a battery, 9v socket perhaps !!

im curious to see circuits crammed inside Altoid tins. anyone? how do you manage the jacks?

Here is an altoids build.

And here is another thread about altoids and tins in general.

I stuck a little practice amp into a teabag container. http://ampage.org/hammer/files/T-tone.jpg

Cool boxes. I need to get some Altoids boxes for me. The smaller that I got is a Little Gem amp in a cigarette box.

I hate cramped boxes.  I know people have success with them but in my opinion, unless you are using PCB mounted pots, switches, and jacks small boxes are just too much of a pain in the ass.
Passive sucks.

I don't want to see only small enclosures. I want to see a 1590BB filled up with four Tube Screamers or something.

NaBo

this was kinda cramped.  had to wallpaper the tin with electrical tape cuz i wasnt using enclosed jacks.  its a feedback loop.  and see? full-size dpdt's CAN fit in an altoids tin! :D

i'm glad i saved some of those tins... i have three more.  they make great, compact effects/feedback loops.

well, this one was not "close-able": too many wires!
(only works when opened up - guess I need a bigger box...)
