Hi guys , a friend send me this schematic , i dunno, but appears to be a distortion , a simple one .... just check

Khas Evets

It uses inline diodes, which sound very different than diodes to ground (or in the feedback loop). In line diodes only pass the signal after the signal reaches the diode's threshold, creating crossover distortion (I believe that's the term). Grounded diodes clip the signal once it reaches the threshold. I personally don't care for the sound of inline diodes, but that's a matter of taste. Also, you can lose the signal on quiet passages, since the signal has to be above the threshold to be heard.

It can't hurt to breadboard it and try different diode configurations.

THe results will be very dependent on the input levels.
Should give a wider dynamic range, unlike the opposite compressive effect of diodeds across the output.
