I played this Korg pedal last week - it's a phasor/wah combo that either runs in LFO mode or foot swept ...
It's especially pleasing in foot-mode with both phasor and wah filters engaged (double wah) ...
Wondering if there's a schematic floating around ?? /// If not I'll start reversing it this week and post ...

I didn't find one but I'm sure interested in one!
So I would be VERY pleased if you could trace it...

Wow... I never thought of this kind of switching. I always have the trouble of accidentally switching the wah off when I'm whaling a solo. I really hate the switch under the wah controller. I guess I'll take the switch outta there and attach an extension to the pedal somehow. Thanks for the idea, mate! :)

Very interesting.
"Sticking heavy [multiple] circuitry like PHase Wah into a treadle makes good sense, tricky details must have been worked out on this one...looks like a real nice unit.

Very cool!!!!!!!!!!! 8)  I want one!!

I have an extra crybaby wha shell and have been planning to put a phase 45 in it. This sounds like a very interesting idea to combine the phase with the wha. The problem I have been having is deciding how to work the 100K pot, I have a dunlop hotpot, to replace the 500K C speed pot of the phase 45.

This pedal brings up the idea of controlling the sweep rather than the LFO speed. I would be very interested to see this reverse engineered.

i got one of those as a gift today  8)

... sized @ 300dpi ... if someone can do a B&W of this that would be great ...

Basile

I'm very interested to make a clone about it!

I have only on request: Please could you take photos of the component side, just to see the value of all resistors, capa and ICs. Well if you can also draw on a paper the connection between the footswitch, both rotary switches, the potentiometer and the PCB, that will be very useful to draw a clear schematic and then make a pcb of this  pedal!!

Thanks

Basile

thanks soggybagfor the pcb!

now the most important thing is to make a list all component and their value and their location on the board...

I hope this thing will be very interesting for playing with it... Perhaps a true bypass with a 3PDT and a footswitch for the  "auto/pedal" can be added....

another clone will become to live, uh uh docteur...  8)  8)

Needs checking

Please Eb7+9 don't let this clone down.....It's almost done! If you can take photos of the component side, we could achieved to make a complet clone...           ... don't forget us!!!!

Yes take a picture of the components. This build looks really cool.

To make easy sense of what the switching does I drew resulting block diagrams for all three modes separately :

PHASOR MODE

WAH MODE

DOUBLE-WAH MODE

I'm sure y'all can see where this is going ... you could wire two other shifter stages and go Triple-WAH and get a nasty-deep swish ...

note: in case you're wondering, the 220k/330k series duo plays no role in the third circuit ... I drew it in just to see where it goes in that setting ...

Eb7+9

I'm pretty sure I got everything right but let me know if you find anything that looks out of place ... I will have the pedal with me for another week or two - fire away any questions you may have regarding the original circuit ...

I have only one request  :

If you can take the time to sign the following petition to stop the drilling up north that would be sensational ... I think it's hi time we ran our world on wind and tidal power ...

--------------------------------------------------------------
SAY NO TO OIL DRILLING IN THE ARCTIC NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE!
--------------------------------------------------------------

WWF-Canada has launched a campaign to focus attention on the U.S.
government's plan to open up oil drilling in the pristine Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is home to thousands of migratory birds and to
the 40,000 porcupine caribou calves that are born there every year.
Drilling will have a devastating effect on this delicate Refuge -
disrupting the Porcupine Caribou's ability to reproduce and rear young,
decimating nesting grounds for countless birds and even putting at risk
the livelihood of the Gwitch'in people of north Yukon, who rely heavily on
the migrating caribou herds.
Let the Prime Minister's Office know you're against the drilling.
Encourage him to act on his government's stated opposition to this
legislation now before Congress. The prime minister must take the strong
message to Washington that drilling in this refuge is wrong.

PASSAGE OF THE BILL COULD BE ONLY WEEKS AWAY. WE MUST STOP IT NOW!

Join your friend and sign our petition today! Your voice will make a
difference!
