I perfed up ROG's "Flipster" over the last couple days for my brother. It worked right from the start and sounds really good, even though all I had to test it with was a guitar. I was able to get almost a Fender style breakup on the clean channel of my amp and I thought the tone controls gave a wide selection of sound shaping. I can see how this would be very cool for a bass guitar. I'll give it to him in a day or two (I'm having a trophy shop do a top plate for it with his picture on it) and see if I can't get him to record some sound clips for me. I ended up using all J201's I bought from Aron and biased Q1 thru Q3 at around 4.1 v and Q4 around 6.9v. To my ears, that gave the widest range of clean punch to mild OD to super compressed grit. Great job ROG, I have a feeling my brothers gonna love this!!!
