Here's another little amp sim for y'all...... I had a spare three hours .... !
It's as far as the tonestack, which tacks on the end and is very similar
to a marshall stack, with another 1M pot for vol.
Add you own if you like, "as is" it has a good tone, but doesn't quite totally clean up.
Great into either an SS amp or a valve amp.
It's a little thinner than other sims, seems to have it's own voice, but I dont have
a real Sovtek to compare it too.
Kind of a nice thick "middle" sound to it, great at half gain

Cool! I always liked the sound of those Sovtek 50 watt heads. I almost bought one a long time ago...

Holy crap I can't believe my eyes.  I had a Mig50 for years.  I used it as a replacement for my BF bandmaster which was showing it's age.  I have since had the bandmaster restored by the nice folks at groove tubes and the MIG50 was sold.   I will have to build this bad boy soon.

Cool I have this amp.  I've always loved it been my main amp for years.  The crunch mp3 really does capture the mixing of the high and low channels.  The only problem is that it is usually in the ear-bleed realm to get that sound.  Good job!

Thanks, that's good to know, as I didn't have access to one for any "comparison"
I had a word with the ROG guy's and they have suggested that I should try to include the
tone stack on these sims, as this of course effects the overall tone.
I'll do an update of the last three sims, including the tone stacks asap.
These will be tha last for a while, I've tried one or two more, but they are starting to
sound a bit too "similar" .... so Jfet's have their limits used this way.
Mixing up J201/MPF102 and J113, does change things a little, but there's an overall
"Jfet tone" going on ....
