A Couple Of Interesting New Enclosures

Sovtek has released two items that I think will be useful. One is a "BB"-size that is pre-drilled for a three-knob effect. Here's a link to a drawing from their catalog:

The other is an undrilled box in the same style as the other NS Taiwanese offerings, but it is 5.70 x 4.70 x 1.50" deep; wider and longer then a BB. I think it's excellent for more complex effects (like the 'vibe)  and it's deep enough to fit a Bulgin battery drawer--no more unscrewing covers! In that connection, I figure to use it to re-house some things that are now in either plastic or bent metal.

I expect to make both of these available in a week or so, small quantities initially till I can gauge demand. Price for 1 to 9 of either one will be $9.95.

haha i just emailed u the other day crazy enough as it may be... u know some enclousers i know i would buy a lot of are the ones that LMB Heeger makes... and u can see some examples of them in use at http://www.beavisaudio.com/index.htm danos website... he pulled it off to a t perfect in those boxes... i just think they look cool.. remind of of the funky style of the EH pedals...

those look cool...pre drilled is great... that configuration would work for big muff, tube screamer, BSIAB, and many many more

That's cool news. I was just getting ready to order parts for an Electric Mistress flanger build, but will wait until you stock that larger box..... should be perfect for it!!!!
   Also those pre-drilled boxes should sell like crazy.... you can't beat that convenience. Well, if there was also an option for different color  powder coatings that would absolutely take the cake!!!!
