Hello,

I can buy a cheap DOD FX65 chorus, but i didn't found his schematic anyway. Has anyone his schematic?
It's a good sounding chorus?

Thx a lot!

Back when I started playing in the '80s, the FX65 was my first chorus.  Nice sounding chorus, iffy switching and bypass though.

From what I've read, the FX65 isn't terribly different from the FX60 (similar circuit, minus Delay Time control.)  Here's the FX60 schem (from DiscoFreq's site):

That's the closest thing I've found to a FX65 schem on the 'Net so far.

FWIW, if you're in the market for a groovy chorus with the same controls as the FX65, but with FET-switched bypass (like BOSS, Ibanez, Maxon, etc), check out the Daphon E20CH.  I picked up one of these used for $30 w/shipping on eBay and it's a killer chorus with just a few mods.  Even if you have to buy one new, they are heavily-constructed and mod-friendly.  The Ibanez SoundTank CS5 Super Chorus is very similar to the E20CH and there's a schem for the CS5 on DiscoFreq's site.  (I believe Daphon made the SoundTanks for Ibanez.)  I've successfully modded the CS5 to match my E20CH (speed mod + cap upgrades.)

I've had both the FX65 and E20CH/CS5 pedals.  Given the better switching and bypass on the E20CH and CS5 (plus the fact they can be had on eBay for similar prices as the FX65), you might find them to be good alternatives to the FX65.  My $0.02 there, of course. :)

Thx a lot 5thumbs!!!

I found the schematic of FX60 on many sites, but i have no ideea that it's close to FX65...i need this schematic because i want to make some experiments on it, or, in the worst case, to get his ICs for another project.

Thx again!

RonSound sells the FX65 schematic for $5 at http://www.ronsound.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_17&products_id=54.

I've never bought anything from them, but it's an option if you want the FX65 schematic.
