hi all!

after going to some jam sessions, some of my DIY pedals caught attention of a fellow guitar player.
one guy asked me to make him a copy of my dr. boogey... well, im not that good with DIY pedals and i cant perfect the art of crafting the dr boogey so i thought of building him a quite similar metal-ish pedal...

i took out my MT-2 schem and tried modding it to:
1. eliminate the nasal tone
2. use just 3 knobs
3. low noise design [lower noise than DB]

so i ran few simulations and replaced the tone control section to a BMP type control...
basically the circuit used just two TL072 dual op amps...

heres a few quick n dirty clips i recorded.
guitar > mt-2 > condor > soundcard

the things was damn quiet! i could literally let go of the strings and get still low hiss.
the noise in the soundclip was due to the CRT pc monitor.

i hope that guy will like my crappy thing...
will deliver the goods next week...

so, whatya think? DB-ish?
Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.

Nice sound, no %^&*ed wah character on it Km-r  :)
Is it the same sound direct to amp without Condor cab sim?

Thanks,
Roger
