RAT/DS-1 Like Boss OS-2 distortion channel

The Boss OS-2 Overdrive/distortion pans between a SD-1/TS type overdrive and a DS-1/Rat type distortion.  This is the distortion channel. 

It is Rat like with a notch filter and TS/SD-1 Tone control.  

Definitely experiment with the values in the notch filter to personalize your own balance of hi/mid/lo.  At least socket the caps (18n & 100n). 

IF you want a MEANER Rat with a more modern sound, this is it.  You could even use the vintage correct LM308 Chip if you want to, but it is drawn for a std. dual op amp.  4558/4559/OP275/5532/072/??? should work fine.  I think RS has the TL082 and the rest of the parts although some part values maybe be hard to come by.
