How to wire the "Manual" Pot of an EHX Badstone clone as an expressiona pedal?

Hello,

I've just finished an EHX Badstone clone (http://www.muzique.com/schem/badstone.gif) for a friend of mine. He asked me very much to wire the "Manual" pot so that he can use either normally (as a pot) or as an expression pedal (practically, he wants to substitute the "Manual" pot with the pot of the expression pedal).

As I'd never seen an expression pedal and he hadn't bought one yet, how can I do that?
More clearly, which is the correspondence between the lugs of the pot from the expression pedal and the stereo jack which I will use to connect it to the Badstone?

Thx a lot all!

Thx a lot Mark and jacobyjd!

My problem is now that in the  topic said that the expression pedals have usually 10K...I need 100K in the Badstone :(...so I think I will follow Mark's advice :)

For the expression jack use this:
Wire the pot to the switching jacks, and the wires that went to the pot to the ends that connect to the cable. This way, when you plug a cable in it breaks the pots connection, but leaves it as stock when an expression pedal is not connected.
