cant find a 1n4004 diode

anyone know where i can find a 1n4004 diode or a sub part? trying to build a dr. boogey but the net is holding me down

any of the 1N400X will work I believe, so *4001, 4002, up to 7 I believe.  There all power diodes with slightly different specs.

1-4 are atleast equivalent, i'm not sure about the higher ones.

the 1N400x diodes are the same except for the reverse voltage they can withstand (block) ...
1N4001 = 50V Peak Inverse Voltage
1N4002 = 100V PIV
1N4003 = 200V PIV
1N4004 = 400V PIV
1N4005 = 600V PIV
1N4006 = 800V PIV
1N4007 = 1000V PIV
