This does not match the factory schematic (or are there different versions?) for an OD-855 / Overdrive II, doesn't it? Apart from lots of part differences, the tone stack is in in front - if you did some deliberate changes you should maybe put a note there, to not confuse people like me ;-). The diodes are listed just as "Ge". I have an original one, but never really looked inside, since it just sounds like a distortion+ to me.

So, we never stop to learn... the script version is indeed different from the block version! Thanks for the enlightenment - this leaves the question, do they sound a lot different?

i've never tried the block version, but the script version was far the best overdrive i've ever tried...
i think there is difference in sound.

There must be quite a difference, my block logo is really a screacher in a Dist+ way, even the tone control does only tame it slightly. I could try to make a quick sample to compare to.
