Buff 'n' Blend Question

Here's my take on the buf 'n' blend.

I'm using an Ugly Face in the send and return loop. With the original Buf 'n' blend mix pot and 100K resistors to ground I was getting too much bleed from the Ugly Face into the clean signal. The four resistors and pot to ground seemed to work better.

Now the straight signal is less than unity with the two 10k in series. What can I do to increase the signal to unity for the straight signal?
