Some one…Help us with a tuner project, please

Hi All

One thing that bugs me is that I do not have an ALL DIY pedal board. The tuner is still some thing that I have bought. I want to build a tuner and sell off my factory built one. The thing is that this requires an "Easy to understand digital DIY project made for else analog folks" like my self. Since I have no intention to dive in to and learn all about the digital part of this world. I would like to find a project that;

A has the schematics for the components etc.
B Has the source code to program the digital part.
C Has a "Tuner building for dummies" Instruction for how to go about "B" for a newbe in that area.

Some thing that works and does the normal tuning job like my BOSS does. I do not have to have all the gadgets and be chromatic. LED:s are fine. Of cause chromatic and display is a nice thing to have but no need.

I have tried some IC40XX analog stuff projects before on bred board but that was too messy and unprecise.
I have googeled and searched here and there but only found some half OK projects with too little info to guide a dummy like me to the goal.

Hmm a strobe tuner from 1980? This looks interesting. Hopefully someone has tried it before or at least can tell if it is going to work without supporting circuitry, as it looks pretty easy.

I thinks the first one wast the one I found and bread boarded with no success so I think i'll still wanne go digital. Has to be a reason why all comersials are digital.

Thanks' a mill Armando. This made my day , week, or maybe month. It's EXACTLY the sort of project I've been looking for.

-Easy
-well described with source code etc
-Chromatic and LCD display + and Hi-OK-Lo LED
-And the BIG bonus, it will fit in a 1590A so it will match the rest of the gear.

Still, I have to practise on my search skills. It was there so I should have found it.

One hole in each corner and cut between.

I plan to use this one. Its so small i Can fit a stomp switch too.

Here you can find a source code in Asambler for a project I thing he based his on. It has not got the Lo-OK-Hi LED but you might be able to get the basic out of there.
