Has anybody built this? Opinions?
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT LARGE PEDALBOARDS....

.... I BET YOU WISH YOUR PEDALBOARD WAS AS LARGE AS MINE

I built it and I'm happy with it :D love this harsh tone 8)

here is some clips:

EasyDrive--Mockman--Condor.mp3
guitar -> Joe Davisson's Easy Drive -> Mockman 2.0 + Marshall tonestack -> ROG's Condor Cab Sim -> sound card
neck pickup

Condor--withoutCondor (less noise).mp3
bridge pickup, first Condor ON, then OFF

So this pedal CAN drive a 3 knob tonestack pretty well? I was thinking of doing it with a baxandall. And my iPhone wouldn't download your clips :-(
I'll try on a comp tomorrow after work. How versitle is the drive knob?

Is there a way to lower the output from one of the drive stages? The 1st in particular?

Yeah, Mockman drives passive tonestack well. Right after it I have Jfet buffer stage as part of Condor, so volume keeps on a sufficient level. I don't need a drive knob or modification of the drive stages because I can lower the Easy drive's volume pot :)
What about my sound clips?
So will you make your own Mockman or not?

Great circuit.  A very under rated design IMHO.

thanks :D
I dismantled my Condor recently and built another sim, but wanna return to Condor :icon_biggrin:

Agree. I am a fan of opamp-clipping distortion circuits like Mockman or Black Cat OD-1. It give a lot of sustain and not too much noise. People say that it sounds not musical, but I like it :)

Yep, I like it with the LED's in the FBL.   :icon_cool:

It's similar to the op amp Muff Fuzz.

A couple of variations:  http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/WGTP/AlteredMuff.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1

Altered Muffs look interesting, I will try to breadboard it ;)

Ha, I didn't use any PCB yet, it's only batch of parts on my bread board ;D
