Title: ROG's little gem pots
Post by: jogina111 on January 19, 2013, 12:01:08 PM
I built the little gem from ROG but I forgot about the pots. All I have are 10k pots for this project but it requires  5k pot and a 25ohm pot..can I use the 10k pots or is there a way to make 10k pots to work like 5k and 25ohms pots?

Edit: I've read about reducing a pot's value by connecting a resistor in parallel with the pot but I dont know what values to put in.

This might help!

I forgot, how should the resistor connect to the pot? Where should I connect the resistor leads? And how would it affect the  circuit if I use a 10k pot instead of a 25ohm rheostat?
