Title: Zero wiring Rebote 2.5
Post by: vattern on January 19, 2013, 02:06:36 PM
So this morning I got up and decided to to a Zero wiring effect. Seeing as I have some extra PT2399's a Rebote it shall be.
This is a test to see if I can do this.

Plan is to drill the enclosure, mount the two pcb mount jacks in the enclosure and then solder the board on.

Layout works, except for laying out the pots backwards.

Well its best to use Neutrik jacks for this, because they are made for such boards. They have screw that goes inside the jack from the outside of enclosure. I cant really explain that in english, should've payed more attention on my english classes in school :)

Layout is awesome, but I think it could be better if the jacks were mounted higher, closer to pots. I just cant accept jacks near switch :d

How do you go about creating a drill template for something like this? I've been wanting to start making boards with everything onboard, but worried about figuring out how to drill the box.

I create another layer in eagle marking the centers for drilling, as well as the center of the jacks for extending down the sides of the box.
We'll have to see if it works once I have an enclosure for this to go into.
