Title: led bezel - enclosure hole question
Post by: royspivey on January 25, 2013, 05:01:54 PM
First, I ordered an enclosure from pedal parts plus and the led hole is 5/16, which was too big for the bezels I had (they fell right through the hole). So, I ordered 5mm fresnel lens from mouser and spacers and now my problem is that without the spacer the the lens falls right through the hole and with the spacer it's too big for the hole and the spacer has to sit on top of the enclosure. I wanted the led style to look like catalinbreads where the led lens sits kind of flush with the enclosure. Does anyone have a fix? I could glue around the led lens but it will look shoddy. Maybe the hole is just too big and I should order a different enclosure? I am making a BYOC ESV fuzz. Thanks.

Interesting option but the datasheet says you need a 5/16 panel hole.

the hole is 5/16". good tip kodiakklub. do you know if they sell just the mount without the fresnel lens in it? couldn't find that part alone and was really hoping for clear.
