Title: Mpf102 pre bent leads?
Post by: Luke51411 on May 28, 2014, 10:22:02 PM
Are there mpf102 jets with pre bent leads? All the data sheets I've seen have straight legs. Got these from tayda wondering if they are fake. I haven't had any problems with j201 and 2n5457 from there.

Transistors on tape reels are pre-bent.
I actually prefer buying them this way as it takes less time to remove them from the tape than it does to bend them myself.
(And yes, I did a timed test).
As to whether the Tadya are real or fake, no idea.
Although the 1n34a diodes I bought from them about a year ago I think are fake (forward voltage measures around .68, which is double what my known valid 1n34a's are).

do you mean "each end out bent", or "centre pin to triangle" bent?

The two ends were bent out so as to better fit hole spacing.
