Forgive me if it's been addressed somewhere before but I'd like to to know what the most common solution to this problem is as a mate had the same problem with his one a few years back as well.
Can someone point me to where this problem has been resolved so i can attempt to fix it?
I know you can't just change the switch as it has something to do with FET's being the issue.
Please help, I'm not an expert but have built a few overdrives, fuzzes and distortions in the past

mine is the non valve, transistor version with just the vol tone and drive. that post is for a different schematic.
anyone had the same problem with this model?
no-one encountered this problem on the overlord III then?
The above link is for the 5 knob overlord 1 not the 3 knob one I have.

I imagine that even though you have the solid state Overlord, the schematic for the tube version is probably the same as far as the switching circuit goes. If you could take a look at your pedal and poke around with a multimeter to see if that part of the circuit is the same, you may be able to diagnose what is going on and why your pedal doesn't pass sound.
It might also be worthwhile to audio probe that sucker to see if it is even a switching issue at all.
According to the linked schematic the output lug 2 goes to a 1 k resistor and then to a RSK30A transistor but mine goes straight to a tC4066BP IC.
I don't think I'll be able too work it out here. Even the other guy with the correct schem had problems when he removed transistors.
