Title: building a power supply
Post by: acehobojoe on July 03, 2015, 06:39:18 PM
Probably going to use one of these :http://www.tedweber.com/wpdlxfmr-1
along with RG's Spyder schematic.

I also want to allow for 18v power. Should I use another transformer like this one for the pedals that need 18v, or should I simply put a bunch of switchable charge pump circuits on some of the outputs?

Probably going to try for 8 outputs

If you're going to go through the hassles of making a power supply, I'd say just add the extra transformers for dedicated 18V (or make them variable). Charge pumps seem to be temperamental and don't give that much amperage.

Do you happen to know a part no. For one?
