I have what seems to be a regulator that has MRC 26-600 18 written on the part? I cant find any info on this part..i am trying to repair my exhaust fan controller for my soldering station. cheers

I found this, which might be at home in a mains powered circuit.

more info needed on both the part/markings and the circuit, so the experts can give you the good oil.

If possible , tell us all what model the soldering iron is and maybe a picture of the part you want.  It may be easier to find the component you need.
