For those that built the moosapotamus, how good is its flange effect?
flanger? ada? very good
Yes if you you're talking ADA Flanger then yeah, I'm really impressed, sounds great but then I don't have another flanger to compare it with. I actually built Harold Sabro's vero layout based on the Moosapotamus version using the MN3007 BBD.
The A/DA flanger is one of the most desirable units of this type of effect, primarily because the clocking circuit allows for VERY wide sweeps - much wider than is found in many other commercial pedals.

That board is very large. I should look around for it.
I'm considering to buy a PCB based on the Electric Mistress.
my favourites that i have built
1)mxr 117 http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Collosalus/Collosalus2015.pdf
2)Electric Mistress http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/CurrentLover/CurrentLover_2015.pdf
3)ada flanger http://lectric-fx.com/product/flintlock-flanger/
4)Lovetone Flanger
i would build all again except lovetone... first 3 i find cover most flanging bases
Thanks guys, for those that don't already know I have a Timebender. I'm all about synergy so ideally, I'd like to build a pedal that gets me a flange effect without much tone/sound overlap. Do the flangers suggested herein give decent delay and chorus sounds? If so, I might be tempted to get rid of my Timbender and use the flange pedal for everything the Timebender does.
none of the flangers ive built i use for chorus sounds except the electric mistress, if your in here building pedals, i would build as many as you can, if you dont like them just sell them , I do !, i havent came across 1 flanger that does it all, the 3 ive suggestion can do most things, subtle, extreme , jet , andy summers etc etc
