Title: Keeley Franken Screamer Schematic
Post by: jculb69 on October 08, 2018, 03:21:58 PM
Does anyone have a schematic for the Keeley Franken Screamer? This is the one with the additional boost pot and switch. Thanks.

If the specific schem is not forthcoming i'd start with a TS-9 schem and look into popular mods, it's likely they are well documented.

I had a quick look around, there's bound to be a forum thread somewhere where somebody goes into the details of all the mods specifically. A cursory glance suggests a charge pump for running at 18v, switchable clipping diodes, and wiring for true bypass.

EDIT: AND WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

Thanks for the link. That really helps with the mod side of it. For the boost side, I've read that he uses the stock switch and also has an additional diode that is engaged in the clipping section. I'll see if I can find a wiring diagram for that.
