Title: MIDI to TRS channel amp switcher
Post by: Bertaxtz92 on March 29, 2020, 07:10:10 AM
Hello Guys,

I'm a newbie in MIDI stuffs, is it possible to build a MIDI switch to controll the channel amp, connecting a trs jack?

basically my amp has 2 channels and is controlled by a footswitch connected with a trs. I want to substitute the footswitch with a midi controlled device to latch the trs and change between 2 channels.

I think I need a MIDI controlled device that can command a reley to latch the trs.

Can you help me to develop this project?

Thank you,
Alessio

You beat me at it. :)

If you don't want the relays to be continuously drawing current when active, another solution is to use a pair of latching relays and modify the code accordingly.
