Title: PCB Layout Guidelines for opamps
Post by: Xambax on September 18, 2020, 12:34:27 PM
Hello,

Recently I asked a question here about op-amp od/distortions having a tendency to oscillate when you dial near max settings for gain/volume. You can see the original question here:

The answers were really helpful (thanks!). I don't know whether it is common knowledge or not but since then I found a neat summary of what they told me in a RC4580 op-amp datasheet and wanted to share it here. So, here are some PCB layout guidelines when dealing with op-amps. Hope someone will find it helpful like I did.

Cheers!
