Im trying to figure on how to wire up a bi-color LED with my footswitch
toggling clean to overdive is just connecting the tip of the mono jack to its sleeve
I tried to implement a 2 diffused led with it but only one is lighting up (wiring a 2 seperate 5mm LED with cathode both connected as I dont want to burn my two available bi-color LED)
green LED = clean channel on amp
red LED = drive channel of the amp
Ive been googling about on how to wire this up but nothing worked, or maybe Im missing something
amp is a jcm2000 dsl100 head.
One way of doing it

oh I see
I understand now
this wiring will lead me into a 2 output wiring
one coming from the amp
and the other one from the 9v supply?
I'd just use a 9v battery. Should last a long time provided that you don't run the led too bright. If the battery fails, the amp will still switch and your ears will tell you which channel you have selected
You'd have to use a stereo jack to switch the 9v supply off when you unplug or else the led would be on permanently
