Title: Arion Chorus SCH-1 input jack
Post by: LutherG on June 25, 2023, 02:30:02 PM
Hello everyone,

I'm in need of a replacement input jack for my Arion SCH-1 chorus pedal. Does anyone have a mouser part number or know of a suitable replacement jack please?

Thanks in advance!

If you can't find the perfect replacement you might be able to jam a panel mount jack in the enclosure. There's a big chance that won't work but it might, and could save you some time and maybe even a dollar or two.

Take some measurements and pictures of both sides of the board. The chances of you finding the exact part are close to zero. Mouser et al. don't have infinite variety of phono jacks. For instance, at Mouser, even if you brute force it and look at every phono jack they have, after you filter the search for 1/4", pcb-mount, solder-pin, switching, and right angel, you're only left with 12 options.

What's wrong with it.?
Is it fixable?
Solder joints bad?

I may have 1 or 2 jacks from a Arion tuner pedal i picked up for $1.  I do not plan on ever using it even if it works.

I have a old Arion chorus i bought in 85' and still works fine. I paid $19.99 or $24.99 back then.
