Title: Momentary Loop Switch Help Required
Post by: yeltneb on October 16, 2023, 04:42:14 AM
Hey,
Newbie poster here: I want to build a true bypass looper but with a momentary switch instead of a latching switch. I don't need an indicator LED. Can anyone tell me what switch I would need and how the wiring would differ from this diagram?

THanks so much
Andrew

yeltneb - welcome to the forum. you don't need anything except what is shown in the diagram. just specify the switch as momentary double pole double throw, instead of latching dpdt, and that's it. it'll only loop while you're standing on it, tho.

Thanks, that's awesome. Yea I want the momentary switch as it's for an effect that I wiill only be using for a couple of seconds at a time so it will be easier to use than clicking a latching switch on / off.

Parts are on order!
