Title: Active Baxandall Filter - Different Variations
Post by: redbagy on January 22, 2024, 02:13:25 AM
Hi, I'm looking for a good resource to understand better the Baxandall variations.

For example I'm using the BOSS FA-1 one with 2 caps for the Bass and 2 caps for the Treble controls however nearly all examples I've found online use a single Treble cap and there are different Bass variations as well (1 or 2 cap).

Just want to double check any pros/cons for each variation (if any).

Thanks!

You're in the right place. That "Tone Circuit Theory" thread Rob just posted is a goldmine!
