Title: Modding an old Tweak-O
Post by: Transistor-Transistor on July 25, 2024, 01:39:01 PM
Hey Friends! Two days ago I suddenly got very bored and went through the Archives on here and I found this old Tweak-O circuit
(https://i.postimg.cc/kR8Wq36R/IMG-2642.jpg) (https://postimg.cc/kR8Wq36R)
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the circuit sounded but I decided to make a few changes:
The 10k pot wasn't doing much so I bumped it up to 100k and put a .001 capacitor across it. This Functioned as a very nice bass boost. I also added a 1k gain pot.

Now, bass is cool and all, but I was wondering if it's even possible to add a treble boost to this tiny circuit? Maybe make the 100k like a tilt EQ? If you guys have any ideas on making that happen (preferably without another transistor boost stage) I would love to hear them!

Remove (or Tweak) the low-pass before the volume pot.
