Hi, I've done some rat clipping mods on pro co 2's. Silicon to red led on a 2 way toggle and silicon to germanium on a 2 way toggle. I am looking at flipping a couple I made... thinking now about safety. Is there any safety (read: electrical hazard) in this mod before I sell it to someone else? I have been using them and they work great and perhaps I am overthinking it.
To be clear, I am not looking to make a side hustle of if this, just have to many lying around and want to clear out.
Being conscientious is never "silly".
Ultimately, from my perspective, the question is whether the mod is electronically dependable or in any way at risk of misbehaving or making crackly noises and making the recipient irritated by what they bought from you. AS long as you've done the mods well, if the buyer knows what they are getting, I can't see there would be any issue.

There shouldn't be any significant electrical safety risk. The circuit is only running at 9V, so even if something shorted, there's no dangerous voltage levels around.
I'd say the worst case is that a wire falls off and someone gets annoyed when the custom pedal they got off you stops working. Other risks seem minimal to me, especially if you were careful and did a decent job. The fact that you're even thinking about this stuff makes me very inclined to believe that you did.
Yes, again; what Tom and Mark said. There is no electrical safety hazard. The official electrical safety standards say that voltages under 42Vdc or peak AC are not hazards unless they can supply enough current to cause spark/melting/overheating currents. No battery or small 9Vdc power supply can supply enough current to be dangerous. You're fine, no danger.
