That is the rear view of a 2.1mm DC adapter jack (made by DGS; Mouser part number ME163-4302). If you don't want to use one in your effect, just wire the red wires together and pretend it's not there. :D

Thanks. I have been debugging my circuit and 2 of my capacitors seem to be stopping the flow of current, is this supposed to happen or do i need to get some new ones. If they are broken what could have caused it?
