aren't you a diy guy?

Do some kind of wiring where you can change the output  connection into something you can plug into a regular VCR and just record the tape... tape to tape style...

Or get creative and plug it into your computer (if ya got it fixed)

i am not familiar with beta VCR's, so i may be way off, but i would assume there is an output...

Good Luck Ansil.

Hey, I've got one, but it's not in the greatest shape.  The picture quality is pretty fuzzy, but then all the tapes are things my dad recorded off TV or from other tapes.  I don't know if it would be worth the trouble for us to mess with shipping tapes and trying to record them, etc.  I'll check it out this weekend and see how it's working.

If you live in a major city you can call post pre or post production houses for film or tv and ask them if they would transfer a beta to vhs tape. Most houses could do it easily in a few hours.

Would you be willing to send your tape to a tapehouse to get copied? They do stuff like that all the time also.
