Title: Measure output?
Post by: shawn on May 12, 2004, 06:11:09 PM
I recently built an oscillator and man, it's way too hot! I have to turn my amplifier way down for it to be at a reasonable volume. How can I measure the output? What could I put right after it so I can bring the volume down to a reasonable level? Would a simple opamp volume circuit do?

with an oscilloscope, dear Liza, dear Liza, dear Liza...

yes, you could make a buffer amp to reduce the volume.  You could also put in a resistive divider...
