Title: GT3 and PC
Post by: Thomas P. on August 11, 2004, 11:41:49 AM
Hi Folks!

I haven't posted for some time now since I've got very limited time for DIY things :(

I have started recording a few things on PC after getting a nice software for free. My problem is the line-in of my on-board soundcard. When I set up my GT-3 (Boss) to line-level the signal is still so quiet even if I crank it up to the max.
Are there any GT-3 users with a simillar problem? Maybe it's an impedance missmatch...

use the GT-3 normal output. That should give enough power and if it's too much you'll just get clipping, no harm done.

Hmmm. Have you tried using it as you would with your guitar amp? I plug my guitar into my line in and it works great. :D

:?:
Do you mean you plug your guitar to the line-in and get a audible signal????

Man, if the GT-3 cant drive my line-in than I belive my guitar can't do it either!
