I recorded some original ideas using Ormans Overdrive Pro. No effects to "enhance" anything. I didn't have access to a mic so I ran it directly into the computer. You can hear the actual guitar tone at the beginning of clip 1. Recording this way did add a little fizz to the sound and I can't stress enough how much better this sounds through an amplifier.
Also, I literally threw these together so PLEASE don't be to critical of my performance (it's cold in Illinois!!!!)

Yup, they work. A bit slow to load but they do eventually work.
Nice, BTW.

Hey that overdrive has a large range!!
What guitar has enlightened your playing skills?
My favorite guitar (for now) is a patchwork of Ibanez parts I put together.

And yes, Ormans Overdrive has a pretty big range:
The tone controls are really responsive, the volume and gain are pretty standard ( not trying to downplay this though because there is a ton of gain) but the real cool part is the Saturation control. You can really whack the signal with that.
