Hi guys I search Alembic build in bass preamp-eq
Alembic have verry good sound. They use bartolini pickups and active preamp build in their basses.
Anyone have their scheme ????
Thanks
find it at geofex.com

at geofex there is a bass tube preamp FB2
not the one inside the bass...
Yes I know this scheme but I search this who is in guitar. :)

Alembic
does not use bartolini pickups! They use Alembic low impedance pickups. Alembics were the first "active" basses. Rick Turner designed the Alembic pickups.
Nikolay,
Perhaps someone on the Alembic forum may have the schematic. Here's a link:

I've seen the schematic. It's a standard Fender Black Face pre and tone section. There's way better preamp's for bass. Look into the Nation Semiconductor applications manual for the three band EQ (word is it's the same circuit copped for the 3 band Musicman Stingray). There's others out there, that's just a really easy one.
I once played around with one as a friend wanted it boxed up.......
I was so NOT impressed with it.......
I have some pics if you'd like; it was a pretty small PCB crowded with stuff. The people at Alembic were not at all helpfull!
