Title: EZ DIY chorus?
Post by: vseriesamps on March 29, 2005, 11:02:28 PM
Hey all

I'm wondering what the best schematic is for a not-impossible DIY chorus. Is there anything out there not much more complicated than a TS? Seems like all the time shift type stuff is a mindf*ck . . .

Thanks team!

Tremolo is about as phazey or chorusey as you can get, maybe a Tim Escebedo Photon Filter might pass for having a hint of 'chorus-ey-ness' to it.
EA Tremolo ... Great Tremolo...Speed Depth and Volume/Boost 3 knobber, sounds reaaly great. I can't attest that it was 'easy' for me at that time though. I believe ROG has a perfboard layout of the improved EA Tremolo.

try the zombie chorus, by john hollis!

be sure to take all avaible advice about cutting out the tick, and you may want to slow down that LFO... but it's a very simple build otherwise.

this was the first project that i actually wanted to keep on my pedalboard. it will easily fit into a 1590BB box, if that's any indication of difficulty to you!  :)
