Title: Quick Question
Post by: Bearded Fish on April 15, 2005, 11:44:25 AM
How can I safely remove the molten glue stuff that is holding down the caps on my PCB so I can swap some components? Do I need a special PCB cleaner product?

I've removed quite a bit of that ( yellow/brown ) goop off Boss pedals.
I just use a pair of small clippers and some small needle nose pliers, that
seems enough to "cut n pull" bits off.
Sometimes it just pulls off in one piece .... :D
Dont get too "rough" with it and you'll be fine.
