Title: what trany's for mosrite fuzzrite?

this looks like it a easy circuit. I used to have one man was that some nasty fuzz!! so dose any one know what trany to use in this circuit I have an RCA replacement guide but can't find it. so any help would be cool thanks in advance Guy's

The Shin-Ei FY-2 is very similar to the Fuzzrite.  Though I have no idea how similar the sound is/was, the FY-2 is also very nasty sounding and might be able to serve your jones.  It used 2SC536 transistors, which are still quite available.  Try em out and see if you like em.

I had the best results with BC184Cs, BC108s had a strange decay and most others I tried introduced squeal. BC107s sounded great but had less than unity gain. The BC184Cs sounded great and had smooth decay, the sustain on this circuit is incredible!
