Title: Green Ringer Input cap Q?
Post by: nightingale on October 13, 2005, 04:51:11 PM
I am messing around with my Green Ringer.
At stage volumes it is just out of control! Not volume wise but it is so bright that it just slices through the mix too much! even with loads of echoplex? I have been making the the input cap larger, but it seems to have very little effect? Is this because of R13 on this schemmo?

I realize that this is an octave ciruit, and that it is supposed to be very bright.. but I am just wondering how else  i could tame it a bit?
any ideas?

Have you tried putting a large capacitor in between the collector of Q1 and the base of Q2? I tried that before. Also make C5 larger.pl
