Hi

Ive built the mosfet boost vero layout above . Im getting sound but my volume seems very low and when i turn my guitars volume its very sctatchy  and seems to cut out after a small turn . Its not doing this when the boost is nt plugged in .

Can anyone let me know what the wireing should be for my input etc , im guessing this is the trouble . The layout , pinout is all ok , and tryed different transistors so im guessing its my pot or jacks are in the wrong place . Ive tryed everything so any help would be a huge help .

Maybe the red dots on the layout are there for some reason ?

Thanx

The red dots on Vero layouts like this are to show where a trace needs to be broken.
Use a drill bit just a touch wider than the trace on the vero, make certain your'e drilling exactly where it's shown [red dot] on the layout, then drill just deep enough so that the trace is gone. Test with DMM to be certain or just go deep enough so you know there's no connection across where the red dot is.
