I'm trying to get this circut working. I'm going by the vero layout which doesn't show the complete wiring layout. Does anything look incorrectly wired?

Firstly that IS a complete wiring diagram (and a pretty well drawn/easy to follow one as well). The layout follows the schematic fine and I cant see any problems with it.

One thing though - make sure you have made the trace cut under R2 next to the FET gate, Its easily missed. You should have 6 (six) cuts on the stripboard.

Thanks, Spud. I was just looking over the board for the 1000th time and disovered that the first long jumper was wired incorrectly... talk about a lack of attention to detail! thanks again.
