µ( Micro) = Alt + 0181 On Windows
µ( Micro) = Alt + 230 On Windows
FYI
RDV
hey RDV! I always thought its alt+230
do you have a link to a list of those combinations? I'm still looking for ohm... :)
On a Mac, it's as easy as option-m.

I always use right alt + M
Much easier
Alt+M!!!!!!!!!
thanks for that!!!
What's the one for OHM?
Fp
...easy 1 for "reg. TM" (circled `R`) ?
Now my question is, how many cannot see some symbols because their font does not include them? :(
µτΦΘΩδ¶·¸¹º»¼½∞φε∩≡±≥≤÷≈°∙·
They are not as universal as one might hope, specially on a forum where such a HUGH number of different alphabets are used on member's computers. That is why I don't use them.
The real spelling of my last name is Snöberg, but english lacks the 'ö' so I add it with Alt-148 when the font allows. I see it come back on different systems as a junk character somewhat often. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too often for me to trust that greek letters would survive.
Right ALT+r

My last name is Peña, there's no ñ in english, you can get "ñ" by using right alt+n (or ALT+164)

Let me know if you can't understand the following:
"I have a capacitor of 47uF, a resistor of 470R and another of 15k."
I rest my lazy butt. :icon_razz:
Ω = Alt + 8486
RDV
© = Alt + 0169
® = Alt + 0174
â,,¢ = Alt + 0153

(sere`s no "TH" in our langwage...)
Or you could just use Character Map (Windows) Start->Programs->accessories->system tools->character map.
It will tell you the keystrokes if it's available using ALT + ....

Ω = Alt + 8486
RDV
...that's weird, on my system Ω is Alt + 1258. That must be where the alternate alphabet weirdness comes in.
± = alt 241
Æ' (frequency) = alt 159
÷ = alt 246
oh, and neither alt 8486 or 1258 result in an ohm sign for me! The information I have lists is as alt 234 but that doesn't seem to work for me, I end up with a Û instead!
