Title: Sili-Face is Squeeling - Help!
Post by: tatems on November 27, 2005, 03:59:41 AM
My Sili-face(ROG version) that i made from Dragonfly's layout is letting out a high squeel if i turn the Volume pot on my guitar down from maximum. I have biased the transistor using the trimpot. I havent shieled this yet so it could be a problem with shielding.
I'm using a 2N3904 for Q1 and a 2N5088 for Q2.
I'll get some voltage readings from the transistors up when i can.

Cheers

Hi
post the link of the schematic
Your transistors might be the wrong way (2n3904 has not the same pinout as the 2n5088)
You'd better try with 2 2n5088
I'm not really shure of it but your problem seems to be a transistor problem
good luck   ;) i'm shure it will work soon :icon_lol:
is it the same schematic as this one :
