Title: modded sd-1 slightly distorting when bypassed

just finished up the full-drive 2 mod from www.guitarfaq.com and I´m very happy how it came out soundwise but when bypassed the signal  gets slightly distorted. anyone done the full-drive 2 mod? got the same probs?

Normal side effect (unfortunately). It's actually there on the stock pedal too, just not as noticeable.
