Title: Old Morley Power Wah Fuzz
Post by: scanner on April 08, 2006, 08:05:10 PM
I have an old Morley PWF that has a blown transformer. It has the number M98P14 1 and 989 8022 on it. Does anybody know what a replacement would be. Thanks

Howdy Scanner!
I believe I have the same one at home.  If it helps I will open it up and see what the secondary voltage is.  Here is the transformer section, maybe someone can determine the secondary voltage from the below schematic.
Peace!

If it helps any, I measured the output of the transformer.(mine is same # except the date code)

28.2 volts ac

Looks like you need a step down transformer   120v > 28v  Not sure of the amp rating.  1 > 1.5 amp may be plenty.

Peace!
